Helen Oxenbury and John Burnigham enthralled the audience at the CBI Summer Conference on Saturday 21st. David Lloyd, Walker Books assumed the role of moderator, starting on a high note with the phrase, Ta Leanabh ag teacht!! John assured the audience that there was no plans for another baby before they discussed in depth the genesis and process of producing this bestselling picturebook.

Eason Illustrators Night

Niamh Sharkey, Chris Haughton, Chris Judge & David Melling appeared at Eason Bookshop, O Connell St today.
The audience learned to draw characters from the books and the later had an opportunity to ask questions and look through the artists' notebooks and early sketches and drafts.

Inis 35 is out now featuring the Bisto Childrens Book of the Year Prize and a big piece on Patrick Ness' A Monster Calls.
