Norton Virgien At Skerries Soundwaves Festival

 

Norton Virgien, Director of Rugrats and the forthcoming Henry Hugglemonster (by Niamh Sharkey and Brown Bag Films) visited Skerries Soundwaves Festival on Saturday to talk to children about drawing for annimation.   We all got to watch a classic episode of Rugrats and an exclusive first viewing of a scene from Henry Hugglemonster.  Niamh Sharkey showed everyone how to draw Henry so Brown Bag films have plenty of new talent on the way!

Eason puts shoulder behind Irish Language Books

Eason Bookshops have joined the push to promote the new Walker Eireann publishing programme.
After only one week on the shelves, sales have been brisk across the country

Hodges figgis installed a big window display over the weekend featuring the first picturebooks published by the Walker Éireann imprint.  This has to be the first Irish Language book display in a city centre bookshop in a long time.  Well done Hodges!

Walker Éireann, the new Irish language imprint of Walker Books will be launched this week with a selection of classic favourite picturebooks and modern international bestsellers - all beautifully translated by Gabriel Rosenstock.
