Niamh Sharkey to Paint in Christmas Window at Hodges Figgis
After the huge success of PJ Lynch's Christmas Window event last year, Childrens' Laureate Niamh Sharkey will paint the backdrop and design the window at Hodges Figgis for Christmas 2012.
Niamh is at present extrememly busy in her studio at Ardgillan Castle, preparing the backdrop based on an illustration from her book Santasaurus. It's a mammoth task as the board is 8 ft x 4ft! On Monday 26th, Niamh will be joined by a group a children from Griffen Valley school in Lucan who will help her decorate lots of stars for the window.
