The Bord Gáis Energy Irish Book Awards 2010, in association with the ‘Dublin Airport Authority Children’s Book of the Year’, has today announced details of their annual children’s competition which gives budding young authors all over the country the chance get involved in the biggest celebration of Irish writers in the world.
The 'Blue Squirrel' image is reproduced with the kind permission of Chris Haughton, a freelance illustrator and designer from Dublin. Chris has recently published his first children’s picture book ‘A Bit Lost’, from Walker Books, which won Gold at the Association of Illustrators annual awards in the children’s book category.
